Any resemblance to any existing person or character is completely coincidental, but the hairstyle and expression ended up strongly evoking Haruhara Haruko. You can pretend it's her if you want. It's not.

I drew this yesterday but know from experience that I always have a myopia toward problems in things I've just finished. But in this case, coming back the next day, I still don't see any obvious problems. I think this is significant because I had no references of any sort drawing the picture; the anatomy is purely memorized. Well, OK, I looked at my hands a couple of times, but that's it. Fingers are tricky.

The head isn't actually any smaller than that previous picture I already don't like anymore in which the head is too large, so either the increased stylization keeps that from being a problem or this picture will stop seeming good in a couple of weeks or so.

I'm currently torn between spending my free time finishing the stuff I'm already committed to finishing and putting together a strong portfolio for the sake of applying to a certain university's character animation program. I do definitely need to try at least one figure drawing a day (though not necessarily to upload) so I don't get rusty like I always do when I don't. I should probably spend most of my time practicing drawing hands.

I still can't imagine animating a character of this complexity in which the proportions need to remain consistent. This took about three hours even without shading or coloring.

OK, so she's either resting her elbows on a bar of some sort or the bar is behind her and she's standing like Mr. Burns.

the shoulder hip ratio seems to be a little unequal with the shoulders being to large. also the hands seem way too small, its like she could eat them in one bite. just remember that hands are pretty much the same size as the face when they're open. especially the hand thats being foreshortened should definitely be bigger just to give the illusion of depth. and the other arm should probably be a little thicker because its closer to the viewer than her left arm thats pretty much the same thickness. you gave her a disney princess waist but thats just a style i suppose. so despite the arms, the picture seems to do the job
