THESE HEDGEHOGS ARE FRIENDS

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with this, though I feel the Shadow man's shading could be better (which is slightly ironic) and I just can't position his pupils in a way that doesn't look awkward, no matter where I put them.

I should note that the bodies (at least, their outlines) ARE mostly rotoscoped from a 3D model (the same one for both of them), as I felt that getting this particular picture done as well as possible was more important than the practice I'd get from drawing them from scratch and having the proportions not as good. You may have noticed that I haven't uploaded any anime-style males yet, and that's because I'm never satisfied when I finish drawing one.

Inspired by the works of some guy named Masao.

I feel like this may be something print-worthy (with some small improvements, perhaps), and that the characters portrayed here are silly enough and different enough from the classic Sonic and Shadow that it'd be legal to sell prints. If you'd like to buy one, let me know so I might make them available.

Actually, I'd want to make a CafePress shirt or something of this image, except that if I ever wore it I'd seem really, really gay.
